The Spectrex system is an automatic fire/fuel explosion detection and suppression system, specifically designed for Combat Vehicles, providing increased survivability against fires initiated by IED's and penetrating munitions.

 

In the troop compartment - the system protects personnel by reducing pressure build-up resulting from fuel explosions, limiting skin damage and minimizing formation of toxic gaseous by-products.

The system has a double shot extinguishing capability.

    The test kit is used in order to check proper installation and operation of the fire suppression system and is used also during  periodic maintenance.
