Applications

The High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV) are exposed to conventional and improvised weapons that require efficient fire protection provided by the SAFE Troop Compartment system.

The 4x4 and 6x6 mine protected vehicles deployed by the Marines in Iraq are engaged in convoy protection and security missions that are exposed to conventional and improvised weapons (IEDs) and are protected by SAFE Crew and Engine Compartment systems.

Main battle tanks are protected by the SAFE system which is tailored to fit the specific tank compartments providing for soldier safety and vehicle survivability.

In urban warfare scenarios, these vehicles which carry numerous troops and are exposed to enemy fire at a closer distance, are well protected by the SAFE system.

Special purpose military vehicles loaded with hydraulic systems which participate  in combat activities are vulnerable today more then ever.
