Sortiva Waste Handling Facility Uses 40/40I Detectors

Sortiva waste handling facility in the Netherlands has been protected against fires by  40/40I Triple IR (IR3) Optical Flame Detectors. The facility consists of a large area which was divided into 10 zones for flame detection.

Each one of these flame detection zones was protected by four Spectrex 40/40I IR3 Optical Flame Detectors. In total, the waste handling facility used 40 40/40I detectors. Upon flame detection, the detector triggers a fire sprinkler system that will extinguish any fire in its early stages.
