40/40 Range Receives IIC Gas Group Approvals

Spectrex 40/40 optical flame detectors have been upgraded to gas group IIC approvals after being tested by ATEX and IECEx. The approval body, Sira, required no additional testing in order to give the approvals.
This is just one of the many approvals that have to be obtained and maintained by Spectrex to ensure we provide a worldwide, world-class product - others approvals include:
- Ex hazardous area approvals by FM, CSA, GOST-R, CEPEL, CIMFR,
- Performance approvals by FM and CPD (EN54-10),
- Reliability approval SIL2 by TUV,
- Country and State approvals e.g. GOST-K, California Fire
and of course, quality approval to ISO 9001:2008
